I currently reside in the small town of Presque Isle in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. The cabin on the lake has proven to be the genesis of inspiration and interpretation. It’s a gathering place for family and friends and a place of solitude and art. It’s a home, a studio, and a gallery. Sustenance consists of a six pack of Coronas, the necessary limes, a shot of Cuervo at the Retreat, an occasional quart of milk and a mushroom cheeseburger at PI Pub. All work stops at 4:00 on Saturday for the infamous card draw.

A great deal of the images of the northwoods were shot not far from my cabin, many times on canoe excursions on Van Vliet Lake. The Northwoods is a very spiritual place where the seasons are virtual, the air is sweet and the sense of nature palpable. It’s my purpose to capture and share all of that.
